Brief
To write and produce an events manual for European ski resorts based in Iceland, Finland, Scotland and Sweden. The manual was one of many initiatives to help turn the ski areas from winter resorts into all year round tourism destinations.

Key Tasks
Working with an appointed consultant in Sweden, share experiences of best practice, instigate research into event management, and draft a practical manual about event management. Also project manage the design, photography, translation (4 languages) and printing of the manual.

Outcomes
The event manual was well received and was also taken up by various other European organisations. The ski resorts also subsequently contracted with me to write and produce a booklet of case studies, to illustrate good event management. The case studies used were from Iceland, Finland, Scotland and Sweden.
